Willie LaFavor

President

Willie began working at CSFCO, his father's business, at a very early age. He continued to work part-time while enrolled in Calhoun’s business and pre-engineering studies. During this period of time, he continued to pursue his passion for building. While continuing his education and being mentored, he gained credentials as a State of Alabama Certified Master Gasfitter, Certified Master Plumber, and Certified Welder. In 1992, Willie was given the opportunity to lead a small group of maintenance craftsmen at a local facility. Soon thereafter, he began independently managing smaller maintenance and capital projects. Throughout the ’90s, he continued to assume higher responsibility within the company, managing multiple crews at multiple sites. His focus within the company was often directed towards opportunities for improvements, or as he considers them, “the specialty projects”. Whether it be improving the safety programs, implementing quality systems, or facilities planning, for the overall success of the company. In the late ’90s, Willie's parents started delegating more corporate responsibility and in 2002 named him as President. Today, Willie is the President of CSFCO, which currently employs approximately 200 individuals.

Willie is a member of the Rotary of Decatur Noon-Day Club. He also currently serves on many boards and committees within the community:
